Theophylact of Ohrid
Theophylact of Ohrid was an eleventh- and twelfth-century Byzantine archbishop and commentator serving in Bulgaria. He lived on the frontier between Byzantine culture and Slavic ecclesial life, after the schism between East and West had hardened. His biblical commentaries adapt earlier Greek Fathers
